My famous brother

Here is a video of my famous brother. We were so excited to see him on CNBC this morning (6:40 am PT). Ben kept asking what he was saying and I don't speak finance or market talk so I couldn't help. Nathan later told me that Uncle David was not on Sesame Street - he couldn't quite figure it all out. Anyway I thought this would be a good opportunity to experiment with my blog posting. Behind in Blogging

So I'm not keeping up very well with the new blog. We had a great time in Utah. The primary program was the day after we got back and we made it through that. Then we've just jumped right back into work, school and the like. I am working on making it through "What is the What" by Dave Eggers. It is our One City One Book selection. Talk about a somber read, although at times humorous and poignant, I keep saying out loud what else is going to happen to you???

Let's Start at the Very Beginning

Welcome to my new blog. I am here in Salt Lake City at the ALSC National Institute. ALSC is the Association for Library Services to Children. It has been a wonderful conference. We've had a great week visiting family and the boys have been playing while I have attended the conference.

I love reading the blogs of others, family, authors and my dear husband but have wanted to start my own but not gotten around to it. Well lo and behold, welcome to the Hands on Blogging session.....and I am blogging! yee haw and woo hoo. Stay tuned for future posts.
